Update: 9/8/2025: SURGERY DAY

Post 1: Cristin is currently in surgery. The surgery began sometime around 12:45. It should last anywhere from 6 to 8 hours. Please keep the prayers coming. They do work and I will never have any doubts about whether they do or not. All of you that have been praying for her have lifted her spirit to a higher level than I would ever have imagined. She was just as calm as I’ve ever seen her all morning long. Thank you. Truly, thank you. And thank you to God for all He has done for us and continues to do for us. I will do my best to update everyone as the day goes on.

Post 2: So we just got FANTASTIC news! The surgery went flawlessly. When I asked Dr. Forsberg if he got it, he said ‘Yes, I got it.’ 🙏🏼 And he was very confident about it. The implant guide for removing the pelvis and hip bone in the correct locations fit perfectly and the new implant is an absolutely ideal fit. He said the surgery could not have gone any better. God is so good!!! Now she is with the plastic surgeon being put back together…correctly. Continue to pray, but we are on the right path.

He did say that her right leg now will be a little longer than her left (for stability purposes), so she may need a small lift on her left side…but that is perfectly fine. My beautiful wife has persevered through more than any of us should ever have to…and she will come out continuing to fight on the other side of this!!!!
