Update: 7/18/25: Cristin has met with leading cancer centers across the country, including MD Anderson in Houston, Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, and has an upcoming consultation at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on July 30. Each team has confirmed the devastating reality: she will need to have part or all of her right pelvis surgically removed.

We don’t know yet which hospital will perform the surgery — that decision will come after her Mayo Clinic appointment — but surgery will happen as soon as possible.

Cristin will face a long road of recovery that includes around a month-long stay in another state, followed by frequent trips for follow-up care, and long-term physical therapy. This surgery will change her physical abilities for the rest of her life.
