Update: 9/15/25: So today was a better day than the previous two. The hospital was back up to full staff, and Cristin and I got to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary.

She started off the day with a fresh round of PT with Timmy (he’s great!). He got her up and moving and she made it all the way out into the hallway and about 30 more feet before tiring, so we rolled her back in to her room in her chair. But it was a great day’s work. She had her epidural fully removed today as well as her catheter, so she is becoming less dependent on a few objects for assistance.

We finished off the night with a romantic New York style Italian anniversary dinner, and of course, a piece of New York Style cheesecake.
