Update: 8/24/2025: We officially have a surgery date! My pelvis is in its final stage of production and will be shipped to Sloan Kettering in the next week or so. Surgery is now scheduled for September 8th. Originally, it was scheduled for the 16th, but the company was able to complete my implant sooner than expected.

Many of you have asked how I’m feeling. Honestly, I’m nervous and scared. I’m ready to get this cancer out of my body, but the thought of recovery is overwhelming. Still, ready or not, the date is quickly approaching. We’re determined to tackle this beast head-on and, a year from now, be able to look back and see God’s hand in every part of it.

We’ll be heading up the week before for pre-op appointments, and the boys (minus Trevor) and our moms will join Chris and me for most of that week. I’m looking forward to making some special memories with them before the big day.
