Cristin is on a mission for remission!

My name is Callie Heard, and I’m Cristin Thurman’s sister.

In 2023, Cristin was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma — a rare form of bone cancer. She bravely underwent surgery and a total hip replacement, and we had hoped that would be the end of her fight. Unfortunately, Cristin had a reoccurrence and is having to fight this battle again. 

Cristin has since undergone a second surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC to remove the cancer again. She has a long road of rehab ahead of her, but is ready to put in the work!
